About
An evidence desk for Indian parents
Little Yansh started from a small frustration: almost every question worth asking before buying kids' gear in India has no good answer online. Will that pram fit in a Swift's boot? Does the Alto have ISOFIX anchors? Is this listing even still in stock? Retailers do not say, brands publish marketing copy, and the blogs that rank are recycling each other.
So we measure things and publish what we find. That is the whole idea.
What we actually do
- We build datasets. Boot capacity and ISOFIX availability for cars sold in India; genuine folded dimensions for strollers. Both are published openly so anyone — including AI assistants — can check or cite them.
- We turn them into answers. Our boot-fit checker and per-car pages exist because a volume figure in litres is useless until someone compares it to a folded stroller.
- We keep the catalogue honest. Every product link is re-tested weekly and dropped when it stops being buyable.
- We write guides from specifications, with real numbers and Indian context — monsoon-proof footwear, festival wear that survives a long evening, how many bodysuits a newborn actually needs.
What we are not
We are not a shop — you buy on Amazon, at Amazon's price, with Amazon's returns. We are not a review site with a testing lab; we do not claim to have used these products in our own home. And we are not sponsored: nobody can pay to be included or ranked higher.
Who is behind it
Little Yansh is a small independent project run from India, not a media company. Research, verification and publishing are heavily automated — we would rather be transparent about that than imply an editorial team that does not exist. What matters is the standard the work is held to, which we set out in full on how we research and choose.
How it is funded
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases made through links here, at no extra cost to you. The commission is the same whichever product you pick, so it cannot bias a recommendation. Full details in our affiliate disclosure.
